Booked!

I finally did it. I just booked us 9 days back East for the first week of May. Three days in New York City, down to Washington DC for two, up to Philadelphia for two more and then back to NYC for another two.

We are really looking forward to getting away for such a long vacation. We haven't really decided what we will do while we are there, but we have a few weeks to plan. Anyone have any must see/do's for us?

You can't go to NYC and not see Wicked, It is amazing. Lion King has great puppetry and is awesome as well. Also, make reservations to eat at Serendipity while in NYC. They are famous for their frozen hot chocolate. It is a fun, eclectic place. Jacques Torres is a famous chocolate shop. I spent $100 on chocolates, but it was so yummy and worth it. Their flavors are gourmet and ingredients one would never expect in a chocolate candy. Canal Street has cheap handbags, scarves etc. Never been to any of the other cities that you are going to. Sounds so fun for you guys. I love planning trips!!

WOW your spontaneity has definitely peaked. That is so exciting. I know you have wanted to go there for a long time. I am seriously jealous, but am so happy for you. You should go to the Today Show and be in their audience... it would be fun and FREE, that is a bonus in it self! Oh and maybe you should drag Rob on the SATC tour! lol

wow! Sounds like so much fun. I am excited for you. I've been to DC and NYC, but in NYC we just did the double decker tour bus and went to see the Statue of liberty. That was cool.
DC we went to every museum imaginable! If you want a tour of the capitol, contact one of your local legislatures and you can get into see it. Very cool!
