Accepted
A pretty piece of mail arrived at our house this week, and it wasn't for me. It was for the Robster. And it was from this incredibly not so little school called Penn State. Apparently Rob isn't content with the handful of degrees he has already and he needs to have another Masters degree. Penn State thinks it's a good idea too, as they have accepted him. Yay.No, this doesn't mean we'll be moving {although I wouldn't have been 100% opposed to a move}, it's mainly an online program that will only require him to travel to the campus a few times a year. So just to sum it up: Rob is awesome, super smart and I am proud of him.

Mr. MBA
He is such a hard worker and I am so proud of him!
After graduation I told him that I would take him ANYWHERE for his celebratory dinner, and can you guess where he chose? Yep IHOP. What is wrong with this guy!?!
Gotta love him though!

A silent cry for help
Rob thinks that he is so funny! He is always saying that he wants to contribute to our blog too, so this afternoon I passed him the laptop and asked him to type up his contribution. This is what he passed back to me, smirking the whole time. Oh, and the title is his idea too. I told him that I was going to post it and I don't think he believes me. Well, here you go...straight from the mouth of Rob. For those of you that don't know him, it might not be so funny. :)
.
Today, I am so scared. I have not cleaned up the house like Janalyn asked me to. She told me if it was not clean when she got home she would not be happy, which means she will go to her not happy place. If I do not post anything tomorrow please, please pray for me. Thanks, I got to go now.

This is why I do the grocery shopping
While I have been faking sick this past week Rob has been incredibly wonderful to me. He has fulfilled all of my ridiculous requests without any complaints. Seeing as he has been so great, I could just overlook this one little thing, but I find it way too funny to keep to myself. He has a good sense of humor, so I am sure that he can appreciate my amusement at this.
My stomach has been a little sensitive lately so I have been eating really soft and bland foods. A few days ago when Rob asked if I needed him to pick me up anything at the grocery store I asked for some more cottage cheese since I was out. He did come home with 2 large containers of cottage cheese, but they were of the full fat version...I only like fat free cottage cheese. Anything of the non-fat variety is too thick and creamy for me and I dislike it greatly. We always shop at the same store and I always purchase the same brand of dairy (milk, cottage cheese, sour cream, etc.) which has all the same color packaging - dark blue. When I brought this to Rob's attention he told me that he didn't pay any attention to what kind it was, he just grabbed some cottage cheese. Oh well I thought, knowing that I wouldn't eat any of it. Maybe we will have some company over this week and I can feed it to them. Since I am such an extraordinary hostess, I know that cottage cheese is at the top of the list of what people like to be served when visiting someone else home. :)
The next day he came home with a grocery bag that had only two items in it...2 large containers of cottage cheese. It was so sweet of him to make a special stop just to get me some cottage cheese! When I took them out of the bag I burst out laughing! There were 2 large containers of low fat cottage cheese. Still not non-fat, but better. You have to love the guy for trying, right?!? He didn't understand why I was laughing. When I told him what was so funny he suggested that I mix some water in with it. Because that makes sense, right? There is some more cottage cheese that I won't be eating. The next day I ventured out myself to pick up my own dark blue container of fat free cottage cheese, and it tastes great! Now our fridge contains a huge stockpile of various types of cottage cheese.
So if anyone plans on visiting our home within the next week or so, be prepared to be served massive amounts of cottage cheese! I will even garnish it with something fancy to spiff it up, but you have been forewarned...cottage cheese it what you will be getting. Rob won't touch the stuff and I just hate to waste it all...Bon appetite! :)
Thanks for the cottage cheese Rob...love you!!!

Next stop, the PGA
For some time Rob has been saying that he would like to take up golfing, so for his birthday I got him a month's worth of golf lessons. His last lesson is tomorrow and then he is ready to take on Tyler!
On top of his weekly lesson he tries to visit the driving range a couple of times a week. Luckily we have a few nearby. Tonight he talked me into coming with him...something about spending quality time together. I think he just wanted an audience so he could show off his newly acquired talent!
I am trying to get him to wear some of the typical plaid golfing attire, but he isn't having any of it! Those would be some great pictures!
Although he goofs off a bit for the camera I can tell that he is taking this seriously. He stops to watch other golfers and combines what he sees with what he learns in his lessons. He is quite a power hitter too! I told him that next time I would hit a couple as well. I need a few days to psych myself up! :)
