Parting is such sweet sorrow

Jackson hates, Hates, HATES being dropped off at the sitter when we leave town.

I just can't stand to have him upset with me so I bribed him with his favorite treat, McDonald's white meat (cuz I'm a good mama) chicken McNuggets.

Now he's is such a McNugget haze he'll forget to feel abandoned and I'm in the clear. I'll just have to deal with Rob's teasing me about treating our pup like our kid.

I don't care, it's SO worth it.

Always be prepared

We're squeezing in a 22 hour road trip this weekend.

Daunting? Perhaps.

I've got my necessities all prepared...Diet Pepsi and loads of Glee music to keep me awake.

Pretty sure this music is going to drive Rob crazy, but only at first. I'm betting that by hour seven I can have him singing along. What do you think? ☺

In the works

A while back we bought us this nice patch of land. Yeah, it's not much to look at now, but give it a few months...

...by then it'll have one fab house on it.
