Let me introduce you...

...to my new best friend: The Wii EA Sports Active Personal Trainer. I call her Megan. Best thing I have bought in a long time!
I wasn't sure what to expect from her, but she is an honest to goodness personal trainer! There are a ton of different exercises that work all parts of your body. It keeps my keister off the couch and definitely beats working out next to all the other sweaters at the gym!!
The more time I clock exercising, the more exercises that are offered. So far the punching bag is my favorite. I started the 30 Day Challenge last week and am excited to see where it goes!

PRIDE

This weekend we made our way downtown to join in on the Seattle Pride 09 festivities. We caught the parade, grabbed some lunch and wound our way through all the stands set up at the Seattle Center.
The parade wasn't your typical kind of parade, but don't worry...no pictures that aren't G rated! :)

These was a group of local librarians. They had a whole dance routine they did with their book carts. It was really cute!

The mayor and his wife
Hairspray!

This was early in the day. It was completely packed, and then some by 2:00.
It was a great day to be outside and downtown. Sun was shining, but not too hot and plenty of opportunities for people watching. A definite must do for any one in Seattle.

Under Construction

So I had this brilliant idea to redo our blog, but the task seems to be a little more than I can figure out on my own! It will be looking quite the mess for a bit, but patience...it will be all pretty in the end.

Proposal is in order

Saw The Proposal and loved it!

I don't know that I will ever hear the songs Relax or Get Low again without thinking of this movie and dissolving into laughter.

Haven't seen it yet? Definitely go. Yes, it's a chick flick, but it's still got some funny parts for the guys and gals.
Plus, I just love Sandra Bullock!

Mr. MBA

Yesterday was Rob's MBA graduation.
He is such a hard worker and I am so proud of him!
After graduation I told him that I would take him ANYWHERE for his celebratory dinner, and can you guess where he chose? Yep IHOP. What is wrong with this guy!?!
Gotta love him though!

One Year Down

I got a surprising email this morning...an alert informing me that this blog is one year old today. I then started to skim back through some old posts and relived the past year...good times!! I am sure glad that Mel had the patience to help me set our blog up!

It's no secret that this blog has been down in the dumps/on the back burner/left for dead lately, but that will not be the case for long. With the summer coming I have decided to cut back on the classes that I am taking so that Rob and I can spend some time together and hopefully get out and do things worthy of some blogging...so expect some posts documenting our fun summer...I hope!

Zack is back

This video made me laugh...Mark Paul Gosselaar as Zack Morris on Jimmy Fallon. Reminds me of the good ol' days of Saved by the Bell!

He doesn't look like he's aged a bit...or very much, at least. I used to ♥ Saved by the Bell!

Sunday = TV Day

With the warm, beautiful sunny weather outside, Rob and I thought that the best way to spend our Sunday was inside, parked in front of our separate televisions catching up on our new favorite series'.

MyHotComments.com

Mine: True Blood. Yes, more vampires. Sounds weird, but really...it's a great show. HBO always has the best series. I am reading the books too, and for once the show is better than the book!

Rob's: House. He was introduced to it by my brother on our trip down to Utah and he has since DVR'd ever possible episode. He was elated to find out that Sunday was a House marathon. He is considering giving up law and applying to med school. Kidding, I hope.

We were social enough to meet up in front of just one television for a brief dinner, then we were back to our assigned televisions to finish up the day (and in my case, the entire series!). Next Sunday we promise to go outside, at least once.
