Doesn't feel like December

It's no longer Fall.

No matter what I do, my mind/body just doesn't want to admit that Fall is over. Perhaps it is because we still have Fall-like leaves on our trees still...unheard of past mid November usually!

So in hopes of moving along into the Christmas/Winter-like mood, I borrowed a few desktop calendars from Smashing Magazine to adorn the screens of all my computers. I am certain that they'll be pushing me into the Winter mood any second now.

Rolling in it

Q: How do you know when you have reached total loserdom?

A: When you get excited that you've finally got over $200K in the bank on Farm Town.
Not that I would know or anything...

Oh, who am I kidding!?!

I am a Farm Town addict and I love it. Yes, it has made me a big ol' dork of a farmer, but I am a RICH farmer...so there!

Playing online games is SO not my bag, but I am really digging the farmer scene.

Rob makes fun of me, but I sense it's just jealousy. :)

I cringe a little when I find myself planning parts of my day around making time to farm...this is when you know it's time to take a step back. I'm sure I'll grow bored with it soon, but until then...I'm off to plant some onions...

Doing a little shopping

I am sitting here at work doing what I do best...browse/shop online. I found the funniest/weirdest online store, Fred Flare. Aren't these umbrellas the cutest!?

There is even a redhead...wearing my favorite color, green!

I put her in my shopping cart, but am now hesitating. I think that this might be too little girlie for me to use, even though it's so cute. And it's not like I don't have a million umbrellas already. But, I don't have a green one. Hmmm.

My sleeper mask is in need of replacing, so this one is a necessity. I wonder how Rob will like looking at this in bed everyday. I think it's funny!! Long live Napoleon Dynamite. :)

There was never any doubt in my mind!

I have always had a special place in my heart for The Big Apple. Ever since I was young I was intrigued by it. As soon as my friend sent me this quiz, I knew what the answer was, but wondered if the quiz would know it too. And of course, I was matched up perfectly! If I could only convince Rob of it.
