Last week I was thrilled about all of the leaves falling outside my office window. Today I have realized a major downside of that...leaf blowers.
Especially when there are three of them being operated outside my window while I am in the middle of a VERY, VERY, VERY (really, 3 very's are in order!) important conference call. Argh!

I have had construction across the street for 2 years. Last October I walked across the street and confronted a bunch of guys about their loud music. I had just had knee surgery, was sick as a dog and I had just had it from the hammering, loud equipment and the loud bass from the music was rocking my house. I went over and was very kind. One of the guys starting mocking me. I called him a name that Grandma Read would not be to happy to hear coming from her dear sweet daughter's mouth and I am dead serious, it almost came to fists. He got up in my face and I thought he was going to deck me. I just closed my eyes and thought "This is gonna hurt." His coworkers had to hold him back. Scary stuff! So Janalyn, don't confront the leaf blower man. Grin and bear it:) Tell Rob hi. Ann
You are so brave...I don't have the guts do that. I ought to toughen up :)
