I just bought myself a ticket to see Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince on opening day. This also happens to be the same day we fly down to Utah. Did this deter me? No. I'm going to the early show and then flying out later that evening.

The part that makes me feel super
pathetic cool is...I am going all by myself. I could not find a single friend who wanted to skip out of work early that day and go with me. Not even Rob. How's that for loyalty. And I really don't want to do the logical, grown up thing and wait a week until we're back from Utah to see it.

So, yes I am a super cool twenty-something who is leaving work early to go and see the new Harry Potter movie on opening day with a bunch of screaming tweens and I am proud of it. At least I'm not wearing a cloak and carrying a wand. I do have standards.

Wow! I would totally leave work early and go with you. Too bad we don't leave in the same state.
To cool for school!
I would have missed work to go. :) Looks like a good movie. (and if you change your mind on the whole dressing up thing, you have to send pictures.) ha ha I could just picture you with your little Harry Potter glasses and a lightening bold on your forehead. :)
