Rob and I just got back from a long weekend down to Cannon Beach, OR. It rained a lot in the beginning so we lounged around and did some shopping. Sunday finally brought some sun and we got to put in some beach time. It was sunny, but freezing cold!!
The most notable 'attraction' in Cannon Beach is Haystack Rock. We set out to see it, but the cold kept us from heading all the way out. I cheated and just zoomed in so it looked as if we had seen it a little closer up. Lazy, I know. But really, it was freezing! We didn't think ahead enough to actually dress for the weather we were having. A little more beach play and we were racing back to the warm car.
In all of the shopping we did, I never managed to buy a souvenir. I mentioned it to Rob and he didn't see too concerned about it. Turns out he brought home a souvenir of his own...the TV remote from our hotel room. Apparently it fell into his laptop bag. Oops!
Don't worry I am mailing it back to them this morning. :) Good trip overall, much needed! I am back to school tomorrow...

You had better frisk Rob when you get home this evening. You never know, he might be hiding some extra shampoo or maybe a hotel pillow? :)
That looks so fun. We're going to Oregon in July so hopefully it will be a little warmer for us. It's been fun having my new blog. I get kind of addicted though. I just have to prioritize my day or I would be on here all day. Between this and facebook it's hard to get anything else done. I'm so glad I got in touch with you again.
Looks like you guys had fun. We did the same thing when we went we didn't pack any warm clothes and were freezing, but it is such a great place to vacation. :)
